Stop Texting and Watch Your Children

...more then my children.

...more then my children.

Oh my God.  You know when your driving down the highway and texting and then your car veers to one side until you roll over those turtles or divots like, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba?

Oh you don’t?  Well good for you then.

Anyway, today I saw a woman do that while she was pushing a child’s stroller.  Seriously.  She was outside an elementary school in Beverly Hills pushing her baby with one hand and texting away with the other.

She had a fold-up stroller with two separate handles, so if she only uses one hand she’s definitely going to drift.  And she did being so captivated by her text that she pushed the baby to the right and into a wall.  LMFAO.

I’m sorry, it’s just really funny because the stroller did that little hiccup jump like a car going up a curb.  Classic.

The baby was alright though (that’s why it’s so funny and not sad).  But would it be sad if I told you there was a 5 or 6 year-old walking next to her?

Is this what we’ve come to as a society?  What the hell is going on in your life that can’t wait 5 – 10 minutes?  Remember when emergencies use to be emergencies?  Remember when absence made the heart grow fonder?  Why do we always have to be in everybody else business?  What about your business?  Can you handle that?

Oh, and when the hell did humans as a species devolve into not being able to walk and chew gum at the same time?  If you can’t do that, do not text with your babies around you.  I didn’t really think that needed to be said, but I guess it does.
