People Are Crazy, X-Men Origins: Wolverine was Awesome!

X-Men Origin: Wolverine was shot down by critics, but once again it just proves they do not represent you or I.

Family approved for children 6 and up.

Spoiler time!

The story was incredible.  That’s right I said it.  In 107 minutes I saw my man Logan grow up, get recruited by the Weapon X program, quit when he saw how f’d up it was, suffer the repercussions of quitting and go on a quest for revenge only to find out he was being played from the start.  What else did people want to see?  They want to see Logan talk about his “feelings?”  Or maybe b—- and moan about politics like the Dark Knight?  This isn’t that kind of party.  And that’s a good thing.

I even loved the way it turned out Wolverine doesn’t kill Victor.  I mean seriously, you gonna kill your brother over a girl?  Your brother!  I liked that even though they tortured each other, and fought tooth and claw (had to do it), they still had each others backs in the end.  Because that’s what brothers do.

Here are some of the major criticisms floating around:

Deadpool looks like a retard
.  Yea of course he did…he was in prototype mode!  The dude just woke up, he didn’t have time to go put

Do you Really think theyd cast this handsome face, and leave it all mutatied and mute?

Do you Really think they'd cast this handsome face, and leave it all mutatied and mute?

on a costume!  Do you really think he’s gonna look like that forever?  Do you look photo-ready when you just roll out of bed?

There were too many characters crammed into one movie.
No, what you really mean is there were too many mutants highlighted, but not fleshed out.  However, in a world where mutants are as common as black people what the hell did you expect?  Do you complain in other movies like, “there are too many extras talking in this scene.  I don’t know who they are.”

It doesn’t stay true to the comic book. Look if you want the comic book, GO READ THE F—IN’ COMIC BOOK!  Maybe the Cyclops and Gambit additions were forced, but at least it makes sense.  I followed it.  Who cares if it’s not accurate, it was organic.  And that’s what matters.

Gambit didn’t get enough screen time.  And?  He has plenty of screen time in the movie since his name isn’t even in the title.  I just wish he’d used his cards instead of that stupid staff.  We came to see a guy playing with a full deck here.

What’s my criticism?  Well they were on 3-mile island right?  How fat and out of shape do you have to be for your feet to blister after walking just 3-miles?  I mean she said walk and keep walking right?  If he walked more than 3 miles wouldn’t he have ended up in the water?  Didn’t really think that through did ya?

Rise up Wolverine, rise up. Your movie rocked!

Rise up Wolverine, rise up. Your movie rocked!

Also, the Gambit and Wolverine fight was pointless, because they really should have teamed up against mutual enemy Victor.  And why the hell did Deadpool get Cyclops powers?

Bottom line, $179 million dollars does not lie.  The people have spoken.  Trust your own instincts.  F— the critics, f— what ya’ heard.  I can’t wait for the sequel…or second prequel…or whatever the hell they are calling this.
